MATTRESSES PROJECT

When we did our home visits in Aremo Village, in September 2023, one of the things we noticed very quickly is that almost every elderly person we visited was sleeping either on the ground of their mud hut or on a sack of some sort; basically none of them had a mattress to sleep on. Because of what we observed, we decided purchasing mattresses for the most vulnerable people in the village needed to be a high priority. So with the funds we raised in November 2023, we were able to purchase mattresses for 19 elderly people.
