ANNA - EMERGENCY FOOD SUPPORT
2024 to Current

One of the emergency food support situations involves Anna. Anna was one of the emergency feeding program beneficiaries in December 2022. She also received one of the small packages when we went to do some of the home visits in September 2023. When we went to check-up on Anna in April 2024, we realized how dire her situation was. Anna does not have any family to care for her. She has difficulty walking and she does not see well, therefore, she is not able to gather the food, wood, and water that she literally needs to survive. We realized that Anna quite likely would not survive long enough to benefit from our Community Garden Project unless we intervened. So we decided to undertake monthly emergency food support for Anna. This support provides the following items for Anna each month:

Firewood
Water
Posho
Beans
Vegetables
Salt
Groundnut paste or cooking oil
Soap & Vaseline
